Galaxy Gate Full Report
Veritas’ Galaxy Gate Guide
A very in depth report on Galaxy Gates
This has to be one of the most detail report and guide I have seen.
This guide was written by a fellow member on a forum about Galaxy Gates, it is an awesome report. Although his experience on the Galazy might be short he sure can write. He has done Alpha Gate 3 times and Beta Gate one time with no deaths, which is very impressive. You will have noting to lose my using some of the tips given in this guide report on Galaxy Gates in Dark Orbit.
This report is mainly for Alpha Gate. But if you want to do Beta or Gamma Gates then hold off until we get you the reports for those gates once we have perfected them.
This report is aim at getting a Full Elite Goliath, but if you Full Elite Vengeance then I am sure you will benefit as well from reading this.The first run was a took a little longer because of using only flax drones. With 8 Iris and 8 LF3’s the process took a lot less time and was a lot easier to do.
Before you do anything you should update the in game settings and unchecked the following to enhance of the game
* Show explosions
* Show player names
* Show company icon
* Show all lasers
* Show transparent background
* Show player names
* Show drones
* Show chat
* Play music
* Play sound effects
Rnd 1- Streuner
To begin your first round are Streuners and the most simplest. You settings should be as follow.
Estimated Time: 5 min
Config 1:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
12 BO2’s
3 G3N-7900’s
Drones:
16 LF3’s
Config 2:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
12 BO2’s
3 G3N-7900’s
Drones:
8 LF3’s
8 BO2’s
Getting through this with no shields and 3 LF3’s should be no problem, you will continue to use these settings for the next few rounds so this will save you time.
Tip-
When you first start off, be patience and let the Streuners move close to you before attacking. Some people will opt not to pick up some cargo, but we recommend that you get all. Once you have picked up the cargo you can either sell it or move on to the Lordakia ( the next aliens awaits.)
Rnd 2: Lordakia
There are a total of 80 Lordakia. It as simple as the previous level and you should use the same approach to this one.
Est: 5 minute
Rnd 3: Mordon
Same settings as the first 2 levels, but with a little different approach.
Est: 30 minute
Tip:
This is a straight forward level. The same settings should be use as the previous levels and you need to go attack the individual ships as soon as possible. dons are fairly simple. As the level progress you will notice that the ships will travel alone less often, then you should be more cautious. Try attacking the ship on the outer ring of the group and pull back a bit. Using the options of orbit or kite will help ( see the instruction on orbit and kite). Orbiting sometime causes lag, so kiting is recommend, but is up to you. There are reports of players dying while Orbiting in this level because of the lag. \
Rnd 4: Saimon
This level is a going to be a little tougher than the previous ones. There are a total of 80 Saimons, so do think they’re easy. They might be easy during previous encounters when there was a handful, but when there are a bunch of them, they can be dangerous.
Est Time: 25 minute
Tip:
Using the going after single ship is a good approach and using the orbiting feature is good when they start to group up. Use the attack and run battle plan so that your shield will have time to regenerate. Make sure to adjust your settings to get the best shield.
Rnd 5: Devolariums
This is a straight forward round that tend to be on the length and boring side..
Est Time: 45 min
tip:
Use the same battle plan as the previous level
Rnd 6: Kristallants
The Kristallants take a little more ammo to kill and they can live for longer, so expect this level to be a little more challenging.
Est Time: 1.5 hours
Config 1:
For the Ship-
10 BO2’s
5 G3N-7900
15 LF3
For the Drones-
14 LF3
2 BO2
Config 2:
For the Ship:
15 LF3
3 BO2
12 G3N-7900
For the Drones:
8 LF3’s
8 BO2’s
Tip:
When you start out in this galaxy either go left or right and use the 2nd settings as mentioned above. Flying back and forth from that side to the opposite side you should be able to get a lock on your third pass. Once this happens start orbiting and use the 1st setting to make the kill.
When the Kristallin are starting to run away you have two options. You can chase when down and orbit them as they are running away. By doing this you will not get locked in and surrounded as you try to pick up the cargo. The other option is to simply kill them without any worry for the cargo.. Finally the next step is to travel through the group and try to get a lock as you do so. This will allow your shield to recharge. In the event you need to repair your ship move to the far corners and do so and use your 2nd setting.
Rnd 7: Sibelons
Sibelons being almost the same as Devolariums , but they take a little more time to kill. Attack using the same approach but change your settings to these.
Est Time: 1 hour
Setting 1:
For the Ship:
15 LF3’s
12 BO2’s
3 G3N-7900’s
Drones:
16 LF3’s
Config 2:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
8 BO2’s
7 G3N-7900’s
For the Drones:
14 LF3’s
2 BO2’s
Rnd 8: Sibelonites
Sibelonites are similar to Kristallants (small) except they do less damage, have less health, and move faster which means less repair time. Go ahead and use the same strategy and configs as Kristallants on these.
Estimated Time: 1.25 hrs
Round 9: Kristallants (Big)
Another challenging round mainly due to the length of the round. You’re going to want to make sure you don’t need to go to the bathroom before this round otherwise you can have fun timing how long it takes for the BK’s to catch up to you, and that’s no fun. Just stay focused and determined to finish the round and you’ll be fine.
Use the same config and strategy as Sibelons and Devolariums but with the same flee strategy as Kristallants (small) and Sibelonites.
Estimated Time: 2 hrs
Round 10: Protegits
To some, the hardest round. To me, a fairly simple round.
Estimated Time: 30 min
Config 1:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
3 BO2’s
12 G3N-7900’s
Drones:
8 LF3’s
8 BO2’s
Config 2:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
3 BO2’s
12 G3N-7900’s
Drones:
8 LF3’s
8 BO2’s
Strategy:
The strategy is simple but you can easily mess up on this round if you’re not paying attention. For this to work, start the round and go to the left or right sides and wait until the first wave spawns. Once they do, fly straight at a loner and start attacking it. The second it starts to flee, get the closest lock and start attacking that until it flees. Keep doing this until the third wave has spawned. Once that has happened, do your best to bunch them up. They’re not like Kristallants (small) and Sibelonites but you can get them in a loose clump.
Once they’re like that, you’re home-free. Just get a lock and go diagonally across the map until it starts to flee then fly straight through to the opposite diagonal and grab another lock and repeat. If at any time it says “Out of Range”, just stop for a quick second and keep on going. Repeat that if it still says “Out of Range” until it doesn’t say it anymore. This strategy is effective because it doesn’t eat up your shields the way others do. However, if you mess up and they eat your shields, don’t fly through the pack. Just go corner to corner until you are done with your shields. Never let them get your shields down all the way on both configs because then they will eat your HP away and you can’t repair at all in this round until they are all in the corners.
Once they are all in the corners, get a solid repair in and change your first config to the following:
Config 1:
Ship:
15 LF3’s
15 BO2’s
Drones:
16 LF3’s
Use your second config to get to the corner, switch to your first config and start killing the Protegits in the corners. Check your shields though. If they are low, leave and come back to them once they are back up. Repeat it as many times as you need but make sure you keep an eye on your health.

Gate Complete
Congratulations! Now that you have followed my step-by-step walkthrough of the A Gate, you can easily complete it and receive all of the perks of it, including the juicy 20k x4 ammo, 20k uridium, and 4 million Experience Points. Make sure you jump through the LEFT portal when you are finished with the Protegits however, otherwise you’re just wasting time.
If I have helped even 1 person, I’ve accomplished what I intended by writing this. I know I’ve been asked tons of times over GSC about how to complete them so easily and I was frankly a little tired of constantly repeating myself =)
So there you have it. If you have any questions, I’ll subscribe to this topic and will check back occasionally to answer them when I have time. Thanks for reading!
